Episode 3.6 - Albums defining Us, and America.
An exploration of America's essence as represented in a set of music albums.
Transcript: Something I saw from the New York Times, our brother, Charles Blow. And essentially, the Times had a piece where they asked certain Times columnists, to choose a TV Show, a Movie, a Book or Song that captures the country as they see it. And it was really interesting, some really fascinating choices and excerpts from what these columnists chose. And, Charles Blow, his was "Rapper's Delight" by the Sugar Hill Gang. And it's a really interesting take on why he sees that as a good representation of America.
